IMPACT OF SERVICES ON COMMUNITY

Impact on Community: About

To begin with, we won't completely stop the use of pesticides because that will lead to a major reduction in production like in Sri Lanka.

So our plan is to control or minimise the usage of pesticides but also prevent pests.

1. Due to using of pesticides a lot of other organisms suffer or die hence the minimisation of pesticides will prevent something like this from happening leading to a benefit for the ecosystem.

2. Groundwater contamination will be reduced hence the water would be fit for agricultural and regular uses.

3. As per a survey we got to know that the retailers out of greed sell the wrong pesticides for the wrong crop to the farmers due to which the crops get bad hence we will be providing the correct pesticides for the crops. Our organisation will be also giving crop solutions/ knowledge about crops to prevent this type of activity from happening. We did a survey in which we got to know that expenses are segregated into 60%-labour 35%- pesticides 5% - other expenses So in that case with our help labour cost will be reduced to 30% as we use machines and do things for one acre for many times doesn’t really cost much as labour charges.

4. Pesticides costs will be reduced to 20% to some extent where farmers get profits as we can’t stop pesticides all at once.

5. One of our services includes purchasing from farmers and selling retail this only takes place with the interest of farmers so we will be accepting the best price for them and also no middle man here so we will give respect to farmers on this and help them in making out profits

We will use solar in the process which helps in the reduction of costs most of the time.

6. We will be using all technology here so there will be proper utilisation of resources. Like water - we use water meters, sprinklers and all so there would be no wastage and everything will be operated based on necessity.
